iPhone App for EXPO REAL

From the end of September the first trade-fair app will be available for EXPO REAL. This will be the most comprehensive mobile application so far provided by a trade fair in Germany. EXPO REAL, Europe´s largest commercial property fair, takes place from 4 to 6 October 2010 in Munich.

At the end of September, this international commercial property fair is bringing out the 'EXPO REAL App' for the iPhone, the iPod-Touch and the iPad. For all other smartphones, the application is called 'EXPO REAL Mobil'.

"With the EXPO REAL App we are offering a new and easy-to-use tool which can help people plan and spend their time at the fair more professionally and efficiently," said Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München.

The application contains a plan of the halls, details of the conference programme and information on the individual events at the fair. It also gives access to the database of participants and enables users to search according to industry segment and exhibitor name, to find their location in the halls. The navigation programme in the app guides users throughout the exhibition site, and helps in finding a car parking space. 'EXPO REAL Mobil' has the same functions – but without mobile navigation and map view.

The 'EXPO REAL App' will be available for iPhones free of charge in the App Store as of the end of September. 'EXPO REAL Mobil' for all other smartphones will be available for download from www.exporeal-mobil.net.
