Website scoops NAREIT Gold Award
Land Securities has been awarded the Gold Award in the 'Best website' category at the NAREIT (National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts) annual NAREIT Investor CARE Awards for Investor Communications and Reporting Excellence.
The Awards recognise outstanding achievement in shareholder communications through Annual Reports and websites among NAREIT's corporate members, approximately 200 from the US, UK, France, Japan, Australia, Canada and Germany. The Awards are judged by an independent panel of REIT securities analysts and portfolio managers.
Commenting on the Award, Donal McCabe, Director of Corporate Communication at Land Securities said: "Shareholders increasingly favour accessing information in a quick and easy to understand manner. Websites have grown in importance in providing this role and it is pleasing that our work in this area is recognised."
