PPG Land completes warehouse opportunity at Centurion Way

A new 3,178 m² (34,205 ft²t) warehouse has been completed at Centurion Way in Leyland.

The building, located off junction 1A of the M65 and junction 28 of the M6, has 8 m eaves, 70 parking spaces and four electric up and over loading doors. The unit is available on a freehold or leasehold basis.

This is the second phase of development by owner, PPG Land, following the success of the first phase in which three warehouses were occupied by Chorley & South Ribble PCT, Leyland Service Centre and Leyland Exports prior to completion.

Daniel Burn, senior associate at King Sturge, said: “With the difficult economic climate, the majority of developers are likely to think twice before undertaking speculative development. The fact that PPG has completed this building to such a high specification is testament to the faith they have in the location, situated so close to the national motorway network. It is, therefore, an ideal location for logistics operators. The landlord can advise on fit out and racking system options, and the significant power supply, which can easily be upgraded if necessary, makes it an interesting proposition for local manufacturers.”

King Sturge is joint agent with Knight Frank on the scheme.
