Developer Summarizes H1 2009

Panattoni Europe summarized H1 2009 in the first and second quarter of this year, the developer concluded contracts for almost 108,000 m² with Torfarm SA. According to Cushman and Wakefield Polska, the results secured the company's leading position, based on a 45% market share.

Despite the economic deceleration, Panattoni’s H1 2009 results sustained the company’s leading position in the industrial real estate industry. The developer broke the industry record by signing contracts for ca 108,000 m². The largest contract in Q1 was concluded with Intermarché, which leased 28,500 m² in Panattoni Park Mysłowice. In Q1 the following contracts were signed: 3,300 m² for C. Hartwig Gdynia SA (Panattoni Park Poznań II), 4,700m² for Mode Com (Panattoni Park Pruszków) and 5,500 m² for Logus (Panattoni Park Błonie).

In Q2 Panattoni signs a BTS contract with Torfarm SA]b

In Q2 Panattoni finalized a contract for a build-to-suit (BTS) order with Torfarm SA. The developer will build two warehouses covering a total of 35,000 m². IDC Polonia chose a complex in Skawina and signed a lease contract for 2,000 m². Apreo Logistics leased 5,000 m² in Panattoni Park Wrocław II, while Hand-Prod concluded a lease contract for 2,700 m² in the Panattoni Park Ożarów distribution center near Warsaw. Panattoni Europe also acquired other prestigious clients, including Indykpol a meat and turkey product manufacturer, which leased 1,800 m² in Panattoni Park Błonie II. The transactions finalized in Q1 and Q2 2009 concerned all the key Panattoni parks in Poland. The largest area was leased in Warsaw, where Panattoni signed contracts for almost 42,000 m². The park in Mysłowice, which is being expanded, acquired the largest number of tenants (contracts for almost 33,000 m²).
