NBCUniversal Casts Central Saint Giles For International Offices

NBCUniversal International is the latest tenant to sign up at Legal & General Property and Mitsubishi Estate Company’s Central Saint Giles development in London’s West End completing its deal on Tuesday evening.
The vibrantly coloured Central Saint Giles, designed by Renzo Piano, is an exemplar of excellence in office-led, mixed-use development consisting of 400,000 sq ft (approx. 37,000 m²) of Grade A office space, 56 private apartments, 53 affordable homes and nine new restaurants and café bars arranged around a new courtyard piazza.
NBCUniversal is taking 112,000 sq ft as its international offices over the ground, mezzanine, first, second and part of the third floors. Rental details were not disclosed. NBCUniversal’s plans include a 64-seat, double height screening room on the ground floor.

Simon Wilkes head of development at Legal & General Property said: “We are delighted that Central Saint Giles is so attractive to some of the strongest and most innovative companies in the world. I am pleased to report that 60% of the building is now let. And we have strong interest in the remaining 158,000 sq ft.”

Mitsubishi Estate Company’s UK managing director Masami Amano said: “Central Saint Giles is one of London’s great buildings. That NBCUniversal, after a long and diligent search, should choose Central Saint Giles for its international offices is a fantastic endorsement of the quality of the development.”

NBCUniversal is advised by CB Richard Ellis. Jones Lang LaSalle and Cushman & Wakefield advise Central Saint Giles.
