Multi Development UK wins two awards in one night
Multi Development UK Ltd was last night awarded two prestigious awards, recognising the development of the £400 million (approx. €429 mln.) Victoria Square scheme in Belfast.
The Belfast Awards organized by Belfast City Centre Management awarded Multi with Best Regeneration Project, and on the same night, also taking place in Belfast, Multi collected Commercial Property Development of the Year at the Northern Ireland Property Awards.
The Belfast Awards, which took place in the Waterfront Hall, showcased the brightest and best achievers in Belfast. Multi was awarded with the Best Regeneration Project Award for Victoria Square as it was deemed the project that has made the best overall contribution to the city’s regeneration.
Now in its third year the Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Property Awards that celebrate excellence in the Northern Ireland property sector took place in the Ramada Hotel, Belfast. Sponsored by L’Estrange & Brett, the Commercial Property Development of the Year award was presented to Multi for their delivery of Victoria Square, which was deemed to have the most regenerative impact and overall the most positive impact on society.
Paul Sargent, Managing Director, Multi Development UK commented, “This is a momentous night that Multi will never forget – collecting two of the most highly coveted awards in the Northern Ireland property industry is a significant achievement. These awards recognise our commitment to quality, which we bring to all our developments and in particular, Victoria Square. With world-class architecture and a mix of new and exciting retailers, Victoria Square has put Belfast on the map as a true European shopping destination. The scheme is far more than the simple sum of its component parts, it is the new social and cultural meeting point of a once divided city With the success of Victoria Square, we are confident we can accomplish the same effect with our other two schemes in Bath and Wolverhampton.”
Since September of this year Multi Development UK has also been awarded Property Developer of the Year at the All Ireland Retail Property Awards; Developer of the Year – Retail and Leisure, at the Estates Gazette Awards; and Property Personality of the Year to Multi’s Managing Director, Paul Sargent,
at the UTV Business Eye Awards.
