Grand Opening of Stücki Shopping Basel

Biggest gallery in the Basel tri-border region +++ First center in Switzerland managed by ECE

Stücki Shopping Basel opened its gates for the very first time on Thursday, September 24. With a rental space of 32,000 square meters, this new shopping center is be the biggest in the Basel tri-border region. 260 million Swiss francs (approximately 170 million euro) have been invested into this project by the principal Tivona Eta AG.

Long-term center management and leasing are carried out by the Hamburg-based shopping center specialist ECE. ECE center manager Jan Tanner (41), also co-founder and board member of the Swiss Council of Shopping Centers (SCSC), is in charge of the center. The Stücki Shopping Basel comprises two retail levels with two adjoining malls, respectively. Each of the shopping streets extends over 250 meters - an exceptional shopping promenade with a total length of approximately two kilometres, inviting visitors to take a stroll. An underground garage in the basement provides over 800 parking spaces. The impressive architecture has been designed by the Basel architect's office Diener & Diener.
