George Roberts to join Cushman & Wakefield
George Roberts, head of West End office agency at Jones Lang LaSalle, is to join Cushman & Wakefield as head of its London occupier team.
George will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a full range of services for occupiers across all London office markets, whilst at the same time, providing landlord clients with an in depth insight into occupier thinking.
As a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s multi-disciplinary London Group which advises investors, landlords and occupiers, George will work alongside James Young, Head of London office agency and Guy Taylor, head of West End office agency.
George joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1995 and specialised in The City Office market before moving to The West End in 2000 to take responsibility for the West End Tenant Representation business. He was promoted in 2005 to Regional Director and subsequently took responsibility for Jones Lang LaSalle’s West End office agency team.
James Young, head of Cushman & Wakefield’s office agency team in London said; “George has an exemplary track record in advising both occupiers and landlords in London and brings a unique skills set and an in depth understanding of the occupier sector. Cushman & Wakefield is recognised globally as being at the forefront of occupier real estate advice and George’s appointment will complement our existing team and consolidate our position as the adviser of choice for occupiers in London.”
Cushman & Wakefield reported last month that new requirements for London office space totalling almost 1 million sq ft were launched by major corporate occupiers in the last 6 weeks. In London, Cushman & Wakefield advises key occupiers such as the US Government, Citi, Sainsbury’s, Thomson Reuters and Interpublic.
