Amid a challenging economic backdrop, French commercial property markets appear to be caught between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, there are hopes of a tentative reco-very, but there are also uncertainties as to the speed of such a recovery. On the other, the ban-king world is suffering from a hangover caused by its past blunders and has been forced to learn hard lessons.
