Coperfil Real Estate Group, a new property investment and development group
Coperfil Real Estate Group invests in development of logistic, retail and business parks as well as other mixed-use developments. It was established with the desire of becoming a European reference in Commercial Real Estate (non residential properties). The Group plans to manage assets with a market value of more than 3 thousand million euros by 2011 and believes that 70% of that income will arise from current projects.

Instead of Coperfil Inmobiliaria, the group becomes Coperfil Real Estate Group. The new company name fits better because of its investment activities and its European expansion. Coperfil Real Estate Group is born with a new corporate image and it has been structured into three new societies responsible for three different areas: Logispark Investment Ltd. logistic parks, Viapark Retail Parks Ltd. retail parks and Open District business parks. The main assets of the company will continue to be the logistic parks and the Group plans to achieve a portfolio managing 2 million square metres by 2011. At the same time, Coperfil Real Estate Group will invest considerably in Viapark retail parks to take advantage of the synergies with the logistic parks and to increase income over the next few years Corporative Development Scheme 2007-2011 The main goal of Coperfil Real Estate for 2007-2011 is to position itself as a reference company offering real estate products within the global capital market. For this reason it is imperative to consolidate its assets which will be increased considerably due to the stabilization and active management of about 40 new investments in assets from its current portfolio which consists of 83 projects. These projects are at their final development stage and located in strategic areas in great demand, therefore the expectations for its income and value creation are certain and permanent. At the moment Coperfil Real Estate Group is working to build the first real estate investment fund (initial GAV EUR 600 million) which will start operating the first six months of the financial year 2009. This is the first step before creating further investment funds based on the real estate business.
