Continued success at 75 Bothwell Street signals good news for Glasgow office market
Acting on behalf of Broom Estates, King Sturge has concluded another two lettings at 75 Bothwell Street in Glasgow to Bibby Financial Services and Expert Training Ltd. This follows hard on the heels of a recent letting to the Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC).
Bibby has agreed a three-year lease of a 795 ft² office suite at an annual rental of £11,925 (£15 per ft²), whilst Expert Training has taken 400 ft² on a five-year lease at an annual rental of £6,000 (also £15 per ft²).
Expert Training is relocating to the city centre from a small office in North Ayrshire. MD Colin Price, explains, “Location-wise, Bothwell Street is ideal and the size of the new office is perfect for our on-site training courses. We were also impressed by the excellent quality of the office space.”
Paul Sweeney of King Sturge in Glasgow, who concluded the deals added: “Occupiers are attracted to 75 Bothwell Street, due to the compact quality office accommodation and flexible lease terms.”
With office accommodation arranged over four floors, this building is situated on the corner of Bothwell Street and West Campbell Street within Glasgow's CBD. Currently four suites ranging from 400 to 700 ft² are available to let and all benefit from the traditional features of the building. It also enjoys security access and an attractive entrance hall.
The building is in close proximity to Central Station and the principal bus routes and its prime position is ideal for ease of access to the main motorway links. It is continuing to prove popular with small start-up businesses. Current occupiers include Eurogate International, Bystone Estates Ltd and Paragon Recruitment.
King Sturge acted for Broom Estates, whilst Bibby and Expert Training were self-represented.
