Catella broadens its operations and recruits new personnel
Catella Corporate Finance Sweden is broadening its operations and strengthening its organisation through a number of new recruitments in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. Catella Corporate Finance is the market leader in Sweden as regards property-related transactions and is included in Catella Financial Advisory Group.
Through the new hirings, the business is being broadened to take advantage of the opportunities offered by changes in the market, while at the same time competence within existing business areas is being further strengthened. The total number of employees at Catella Corporate Finance Sweden amounts hereby to 65 persons.
Ola Jacobsson and Daniel Anderbring have been recruited to strengthen the analysis function within Catella Corporate Finance as regards the property market and capital market. Ola Jacobsson, 37, will begin at Catella on 26 August. Ola, who is an economist, has been recruited from DTZ Sweden where he has worked as Head of Research. Before that, he dealt with transactions and analysis within the Fabege/Drott group.
On 1 September, Daniel Anderbring, 32, will begin at Catella. Daniel, who holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, has been recruited from Kaupthing where he has worked as a stock analyst within the property sector. He has also worked with market analyses at KF Fastigheter.
Anders Nordvall, 36, has returned to Catella Corporate Finance in Stockholm as a senior advisor in major property transactions. Anders Nordvall has been recruited from AREIM, where he has been employed since October 2007. Before that, he was at Catella Corporate Finance for eight years.
Kristina Månesköld and Per-Anders Eliasson have been hired as advisors in property transactions at Catella's office in Gothenburg. Kristina Månesköld, 40, who will take up her position on 18 August, has worked as a lawyer at Vinge in Gothenburg for the past five years. Per-Anders Eliasson, 34, will commence his employment at Catella in Gothenburg on 28 August. Per-Anders has been recruited from Kaupthing in Gothenburg and, before that, also worked at SBAB and Nordea.
The capital market operations within Catella will be expanded to include, in addition to IPOs, buy-outs, new issues, etc., also services related to the credit market, such as advice and procurement of loans, restructuring of existing property financing and other capital structurerelated issues. Peter Bergmann-Stumpp, 38, who will take up his position at Catella on 11 August, will be responsible for this new line of business. Peter has been recruited from Carnegie. Marlene Brink-Sinervo, 46, will take up the position of administrative manager at Catella, based in Stockholm, on 22 September. One of Marlene's primary duties will be to engage in skills and management development within Catella. Marlene will also be responsible for the treasury and support functions.
Marlene, who is an economist, worked as an accountant for the first ten years of her career, mainly at Arthur Andersen. For the past ten years, Marlene has served as HR manager within Andersen/Deloitte with responsibility for recruitment, organisation and skills development, performance management and salary reviews.
