CBRE supports the UK launch of GIVe
In early 2009 the CBRE Retail team were appointed by retail guru George Davies to advise on the acquisition of a portfolio of stores for his new retail brand GIVe.
George Davies is well known for his success in the retail fashion industry and as the brains behind the Next, George at Asda and Per Una brands. His fourth retail concept, GIVe, is positioned to fill a gap in the market and bring ‘affordable luxury’ to women aged 30 and over.
CBRE advised George on the acquisition of all nine of his stand alone stores across the UK including the flagship store which opened in Regent Street on 30th September. Our extensive knowledge of UK shopping destinations and consumer patterns allowed us to identify the sites best suited to attract GIVe's target market. All were chosen because of their affluent catchment areas and include Glasgow's Buchanan Street, Liverpool One, Bristol's Cribb's Causeway, Sheffield's Meadow Hall, Kent's Bluewater and Kingston upon Thames.
